Montserrat, literally meaning ‘serrated’ is a mountain range roughly thirty miles from Barcelona, Spain. Home to the Order of Saint Benedictine, there has been a monastery there since the 11th century. This body of work looks at the religious iconography and how it is situated within the landscape.
